It's compulsory for staff of any Brent Oil-branded service station or diesel depot site to wear the prescribed Brent Oil clothing. The range has been researched and developed with great care to ensure that all functional, aesthetic and fashion requirements are met at a reasonable cost.
Due to the unique look, some items in the range have to be manufactured to order, resulting in a lead time of between four to six weeks. However, about 70% of the items are available ex–stock, reducing the lead time considerably.
All sites will be given the following items free of charge with the first order:
• 2 x Navy Chino Pants with light blue piping*This means that short-sleeved shirts will be issued free of charge if your first order is in summer and long-sleeved ones if your first order is in winter.
•*2 x Brent Oil Ottoman Navy Short Sleeve Shirts (in summer)
• *2 x Cotton Twill Long Sleeve Navy Shirts (in winter)
• 1 x Brent Oil Cap
• 2 x Brent Oil Jacket
• 2 x Pairs Navy Cotton Socks
All other items required by employees should be purchased by the relevant site owner.
Owners of A–grade sites (volume in excess of 300 000 liters per month) and employing eight or more people enjoy a special dispensation which has to be negotiated with the relevant regional executive, who in turn will obtain approval from Brent Oil Head Office.
All orders must be placed with Elene Shepherd at any of the following numbers: (021) 855 5329 or 082 739 0563 or email sheppeak@mweb.co.za or nicolize@brentoil.co.za.
The range will be evaluated and reviewed continuously and feedback can be directed to Elene. She'll ensure that Brent Oil management is kept informed and also will initiate changes deemed necessary and appropriate.
For the sake of brand integrity it's imperative that staff members should be clean and neat at all times. Therefore, Brent Oil might require site owners to replace clothing items due to wear and tear and/or negligent damage. However, Brent Oil would prefer owners to reorder of their own volition when required.
To prevent clothing damage, it's imperative to study the washing instructions included in the electronic price list carefully and communicate the instructions to staff.
Should an owner wish to discuss any aspect pertaining to the range, he/she may contact Elene Shepherd at the numbers provided above, or if she can't be reached or an issue can't be resolved satisfactorily, then the matter should be raised with Brent Oil marketing manager Donald Macdonald at (012) 345 4405 or 071 674 1408 or email donaldmc@brentoil.co.za.
